How to Change the PHP Version on cPanel and Parallels Panel

cPanel is a popular web hosting control panel. The vast majority of web hosting providers use cPanel as it is feature-rich and easy to use — with a sleek interface. One of the features offered by cPanel is the ability to change the PHP version. This feature is crucial enough since some apps like WordPress and the supporting plugins require certain PHP version to run.

Not all web hosting providers use cPanel as their control panel, though. There are some web hosting providers that use Parallels Panel due to certain reasons. Compared to cPanel, Parallels Panel has fewer features. But, it also allows you to change the PHP version in case you need to do so. This article will show you how to change the PHP version on both cPanel and Parallels Panel.
