If you often use this service, be it for asking questions or answering existing questions, chances are you once thought of changing your credential. Credential is a brief information about yourself. This information appears on every answer you posted.

Credential might look trivia, but it can be quite useful to build your personal brand. For instance, if you are a photographer, you can use a credential like “Photo contributor for Getty Images” or something similar. Don’t worry if you already use an improper credential on Quora. You can change it anytime you want.

To change your credential on Quote, first go to your profile page by clicking your ava right next to the Add Question button on the top-right corner.

On your profile page, click the Edit link next to the Credentials & Highlights section on the upper right corner.

On the appearing pop-up, select your desired credential from the existing ones and click the Edit link. Or you can also add a new credential if you want.

Lastly, click the Set as Default link.

By now, you should see your new credential on every answer you posted.
