How to Get an eM Client License Key and Activate It

eM Client is a feature-rich desktop-based email client for Windows and Mac. It comes with a built-in task manager, calendar, and contact manager. eM Client is available as a freemium app. The free version can only be used for personal use with the maximum email account is limited to two accounts. eM Client offers a 30-day trial to allow you to try the offered features.

You can use the trial version of eM Client without activating the license. After the trial period is over, you will be prompted to activate the license even if you eventually decided to use the free version. There is no difference between eM Client Free and eM Client Pro in terms of features. You are just not allowed to use it for commercial use with a maximum of two email accounts.

How to get an eM Client license and activate

You can the binary file of eM Client (MSI file for Windows and PKG for Mac) on its official website. Simply double-click the binary file to install it on your computer. Launch the eM Client app once installed. Click the menu and select Help -> License.

A popup will appear afterward. Click Get a License and you will be directed to the eM Client page.

Select the version you want to use. If you want to use the free version, simply click the Get Free License button. If you want to use the pro version, click the Purchase Pro button to proceed with the purchase.

If you selected the free version, you will see the following form. Fill out the required fields, accept the EULA, and click the Get Free License button. The activation key will be sent to your email address.

Open your email and copy the license key sent by eM Client. On the eM Client app, go back to Menu -> Help -> License. Click Activate this time and paste the license key you have just copied. Click the OK button

If the activation succeeds, you will see your name as well as the issue date.
