Everyone knows that Instagram is a social media platform that is designed for smartphone. Actually, you can also login to Instagram on web. However, the web version of Instagram doesn’t offer a capability to post a new photo. Is there a trick to upload a new photo to Instagram via web? That’s that we are going to discuss here.
Instagram is a social media that has a tight enough policy regarding the API use. Hardly any third party app that offers an upload feature. If you are a Chrome user, there is a simple trick you can apply to post a new photo to Instagram via web. First, visit the website of Instagram and login with your account.
Once you logged in, right click anywhere on the Instagram dashboard and choose Inspect.
Select one of the available smartphones on the top side and reload the Instagram page (simply press the f5 button on your keyboard).
You should see an upload button on the Instagram interface. Click on the button to select an image from your computer.
Next, click the Next button on the top right corner and follow the steps just like when you are posting a new photo via smartphone app. To post your photo in a landscape mode, you can click the landscape-square toggle on the bottom left of the image composer. To apply a filter, you can switch to the Filter tab before clicking the Next button.
The downside of this method is that it only allows you to select a single photo per post.
This did not work. The + never shows up.
