Some people rely on post-it notes to jot down things like to-do lists, phone numbers, email addresses to small notes. In Windows 10, you can use the Sticky Notes app to replace the physical post-it notes you usually use. It is one of the default apps offered by Windows 10. Actually, Sticky Notes has been around since Windows 7. In Windows 10, this app just got better. You can now sync your notes to the cloud so that you can access them via different devices from the device where you originally created the notes. You can even access your notes from an Android device.

How to access your Windows 10 Sticky Notes via the web browser

Thanks to the sync feature of Sticky Notes, you can access your notes from anywhere via a web browser. You can even access them via Linux and macOS. But first, you need to make sure that your notes have been synced. To have your notes get synced, you just need to sign in with your Microsoft account. Click the gear icon on the top side of the Sticky Notes app and click the Sign in button.

Once logged in, every time you create a new note, it will be synced to the cloud. You can also manually sync your notes if you are not sure your notes have been synced. Click the gear icon once again you will see a Sync now button. Simply click this button to sync your notes.

To access your notes via a web browser, you can go to onenote.com/stickynotes. Log in with your Microsoft account.

As you can see, all of your existing notes will be presented on this page. You can use the left panel to explore your notes. You can also edit an existing note, add a new note, or delete a note from this page. New notes you created via this page will also be available on the Sticky Notes app on your Windows 10.

How to access your Windows 10 Sticky Notes via Android

In order to be able to access your Windows 10 Sticky Notes via your Android device, you need to install Microsoft Launcher on your Android device. Also, you need to use this launcher all the time if you want to always access your Windows 10 Sticky Notes. In other words, you need to use Microsft Launcher as the default launcher to replace the launcher of your Android phone.

Once Microsoft Launcher is installed on your Android device, open it and login with Microsoft account. Next, swipe right and scroll down to the Sticky Notes section and tap the Turn on notes button.

You will instantly see the list of the existing notes on your Microsoft account. Tap a note to see the details. You can also edit the note. To change the background color or delete the note, you can tap the three-dot icon on the top-right corner of the note.
