One of many reasons why people running a blog is to get money. Displaying ads is the common way of how bloggers generated revenue from blogging. You can put the ads code anywhere within your blog, whether on sidebar, header or even single post.
Adding an ads code is an easy task especially if you use WordPress (self hosted) as your CMS. However, it will be little harder when it comes to displaying ads on single post. You have to at least understand the basic of PHP in order to place your ads code. Or, you can use the second option by installing a WordPress plugin.
Quick Adsense is one of the greatest plugins to display your ads. You can use this plugin to display your ads anywhere (including single post) within your blog even if you have no basic knowledge of PHP (or coding) at all.
Let’s say you have installed Quick Adsense plugin and have been displaying ads on a single post. And — for a specific reason — you need to write and article on your blog without any ads. Or, you want to display a custom ads outside of your regular ads. Then you start thinking so hard of how to do that as you have to skill in programming.
If you ever noticed further on Quick Adsense features, you can actually do that task easily. This plugin comes with some comment tags to allow you disabling ads on a specific channel within your blog.
Now if you want to hide your ads on a specific post, please follow these instructions.
- From your WordPress dashboard, go to Settings –> Quick Adsense. Scroll down to the Quicktag section and copy the “<!–NoAds–>” code.
- Head to Posts –> Add New to write a new article.
- Once you done creating your article, switch to Text tab on the WordPress editor and put the NoAds code you have copied. You can put this code anywhere within your article.
- Now please publish your article and see what will happen.
